Introduction	I read somewhere that artists and creative people are really just narcissists looking for an outlet, and I've come to the realization that I fall into that generalization. You'll see lots of self portraits; partially because I'm my own most willing subject, but also because of the familiarity involved. Which is why you'll also see lots of those who are familiar to me: friends, family, furry buddies. But they move around a lot, so I like to work with my inanimate friends: Mr. Collander, Ms. Cheese Grater, for example. Infusing interesting elements into the everyday object is a fun and challenging undertaking. So goodbye boring candy dish. Hello sexy cookie cutter!
