| Introduction | Ever met a woman, at really any age and you immediately got the feeling of "mother?" That is me. I mother. I have done it since I realized what a baby was around the time my cousin Melissa was born. I was perhaps 3 yrs old. As a child being a mothering-type was not helpful in my socialization. I was bossy, nosey, caring, and an informer. It took very special friends and my own mother to teach me how to curb those traits and be a good friend too. Yet as an adult these skills have come in handy with three boys and a neighborhood crawling with kids. I mean to craft my skills so that when the teen years hit, they'll never know what I'll come up with next! |
