Introduction	Stephanie is a current member of the SCBWI, and she is extremely interested in writing for children. In 2001 she graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Integrated Strategic Communications with a public relations and advertising focus. Upon graduation, she wrote and published a company newsletter for an office of over 300 employees. After gaining her MAE, she changed careers to become a special needs elementary teacher, and she continues to use writing as a tool to benefit her students.
Interests	I love teaching, reading, writing, ping pong, tennis, basketball, football, and being outside.
Favorite books	The Giving Tree, The Notebook, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice
