Introduction	I practiced medicine in the fields of family practice and psychiatry for nearly fifty years until I retired in 2007. Since then I have been collecting poems written throughout my career and resumed my interest in writing. The practice included extensive work with individuals, groups, families, and couples struggling with relationships, particularly with issues of intimacy and sexuality. I continue to write and live in Houston, Texas with my wife, Kathleen and our two Bengal cats Tai and Qi, all of whom constantly teach me about love.
