Introduction	I'm Nancy Marmer. For many years I was managing editor of Art in America magazine. Before that I wrote for Artforum and was one of the founding editors of Critique: Studies in Modern Fiction. I've published lots of art criticism, art journalism and book reviews. Now I write fiction-- a novel I've just finished and another in the works. Exegette, my nom de blog since 2008, is a place for my non-fictional scribblings on books, opera, architecture, political developments, art-world events, and other occasional subjects not easy to classify.
