| Introduction | I have worked in the pet care industry my whole adult life. I spent six years as a Veterinary assistant, opened one of the first in home pet care services in the city of Halifax NS, went on to open Critter Sitter's Boutique & Grooming Salon. I graduated from The Maritime School Of Professional Dog Grooming in 1982. I completed the requirements and became a Certified Tellington TTouch Companion Animal Practioner in 2005. I have just semi retired from 23 years of being the owner/operator of Oakglen Kennels Ltd, a rather large boarding kennel on the outskirts of Halifax NS. My present location is just outside of Windsor NS at the mouth of the beautiful Annapolis Valley where I have just opened a grooming shop at my home. |
| Interests | Animals, dogs in particular, I am a life member of The Canadian Kennel Club, and have been involved with showing & breeding Italian Greyhounds since 1974, I also love gardening, all things involved with living in the country & a good mystery book |
