| Introduction | I'm a Canadian woman in my 40's. I have a great family and a good job. I'm a pretty happy person for the most part, but I struggle with weight loss. I had an accident a few years ago that left me with a very painful ankle that requires more surgery (ankle fusion - not fun). This makes the exercise part of weight loss pretty challenging. Combine pain and lack of mobility with my love of food and it's like the perfect storm... and so here I am. Now I don't want to say how much I weigh, but according to my BMI, I could safely split my weight in two. Ouch... writing that down was more painful than I thought it would be. Oh well, nonetheless... there it is. Off we go on this journey, one (painful) step at a time, looking for joy along the way. |
