Introduction	I'm a 46 year-old sister, daughter, friend, aunt, project manager, aspiring photographer, & handy-gal-who's-never-met-a-power-tool-she-didn't-love on a mission. That mission??? To permanently vanquish the additional 75-85 lbs. that I have managed to put on (or re-find) over the last 6+ years. I'm planning to tackle this challenge with a lap band (banded on October 4, 2010), some much needed counseling, and the support of a wonderful blogging community. Welcome to my journey.
