Introduction	“My work is an expression of vibrant color and deeply spiritual energies. I usually work in series, developing an idea, producing a consistent body over a period of years. It is like a compilation of short stories that revolve around a common theme. I work over canvas, wood, paper, most of the time in acrylic. With my mind and soul intertwined, I absorb what is around me. I connect with the world and the universe. Upon this I base my art. Through my work I am able to speak simply and honestly to you. I truly enjoy when my art connects since my message springs from our collective conscience. My love for celebrating family, community, and heritage inspired my work. The passions I hold most dearly are love for our Mother Earth, my faith in humanity and belief that compassion is the greatest virtue. I am inspired by artists like Marc Chagall and his celebration of life, Amedeo Modigliani for his sensuality and others not only for their art but how they lived their lives as artists. I am influenced by the beauty, sensuality, and harmony”
