Mrs. Ochs’ Outstanding 2nd Grade Classroom

About me

Introduction	My name is Wendy Ochs. This is my fifth year teaching elementary school, and my 8th year of early childhood care. My husband was in the military, and as a military spouse I saw the special need for childcare. I accomplished childcare training through the Air Force and began a childcare business that quickly evolved into an Air Force certified pre-school with which I earned the “Provider of the Year” award for each year my pre-school was open. This is when I realized my love for teaching. My husband retired and we settled here in Enid where I immediately returned to college to acquire my early childhood certifications. After graduation I taught kindergarten at Garfield Elementary, and was pleased to be able to transfer to Glenwood to teach 2nd graders.
