| Introduction | Dimitris has been teaching English as a Foreign Language for over 30 years and he is currently working as Editorial Consultant and Teacher Trainer. He previously worked as the Head of Foreign Languages Department at "Ευρωπαϊκό Πρότυπο", a K-12 school in Athens, Greece. His experience covers a wide range of groups including young learners, teenagers, adults, exam prep classes and Business English. He has also written 5 test books for Macmillan. He designs and delivers workshops on introducing and integrating learning technology into the syllabus. He is particularly interested in developing speaking, writing and 21st century skills and integrating technology and innovation into the daily practice. These interests are reflected in the presentations he has given at IATEFL, TESOL France, IATEFL Hungary, TESOL Macedonia-Thrace. He has also written articles for the IATEFL Voices, ELT NEWS, Humanizing Language Teaching,BELTA Bulletin,ELTA, Lingua Franca and TESOL Greece Newsletter.He also served as TESOL Greece Newsletter editor for two years (2004-2006), vice chair and TESOL Greece chair (2012-13). |
