About me

Introduction I grew-up with a mom who believed in storing foods for emergencies. Her idea of being prepared was to store a lot of wheat, beans, and other foods in containers that sat on the shelf for years and years. Most of that food ended up being thrown away because it was not edible or had gone rancid after such a long time. Over the last few years I've researched new and more efficient ways to store food for emergencies and to use them in everyday living. My family also believes in preparing for unforeseen events and helping others learn easier and safer ways to store foods. This blog is meant to demonstrate some easy ways to be prepared for whatever emergency might occur, as well as show some great ways to use and rotate food storage.
