| Introduction | My family is the most important part of my life. I tell them often that they are the center of my universe. I have four children and ten grandchildren. I teach English to eleventh graders who keep me active and interested in learning new things. I love to read. I am seriously obssessed with the Harry Potter series but also love A Tale of Two Cities (most anything by Charles Dickens), love to hate 1984, love to think with T.S. Eliot and enjoy the drama of reality shows on television. Going to movies with my grandchildren brings me a great deal of pleasure (though I don't get to do this very often anymore.)My favorite movie is the one I am watching. At this point in my life I have the wonderful opportunity of caring for my 85 year old mother. Even though she is afflicted with the crippling effects of Alzheimers, she continues to help me laugh, love and enjoy the blessings of life. I am embarking on a new adventure and have fallen in love again. But this is a story for another time. |
