Introduction	I am married to the wonderful Juliana Snoddy Barnett, and after 40 years we have four awesome kids with incredible mates and three grandchildren. I am an artist (one who creates) by love and by profession. My artistic endeavors include music, writing, cooking, and Christian ministry. By profession, I am a financial planner, a career in which I use my creativity to design and manage financial plans for individuals, families, non-profit organizations, and businesses.
Interests	I love reading, thinking, dialoging, writing, and creating musical art.
Favorite movies	Shenandoah, Saving Private Ryan, A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall, Shadowlands, Crash.
Favorite music	Literally anything and everything that is well-composed: Handel, Wagner (especially "Der Ring des Nibelungen"), Billy Joel, John Denver, System of a Down, Kansas, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Willie Nelson, Annie Herring, Phil Keaggy, Keith Green, Stuart Townsend, DC Talk -- it's all about the writing for me.
Favorite books	The Bible (English Standard Version), anything by C.S. Lewis, Summa Theologica, anything by Aristotle, Don Quixote, anything by Shakespeare, anything by Milton, anything by Steinbeck, "Goodbye to a River" by John Graves
