| Introduction | Brian P.T. Blake was born the day before Hitler invaded Norway. A 1962 honors graduate of Harvard University in Architecture, he spent the next three years in California and England as a civil engineer officer in the U.S. Air Force. Brian lived in Saigon, Vietnam, as a civilian construction manager, survived the Tet Attack, and visited Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Phom Phenh. Back in the states since 1969, he has spent his career in real estate, banking, and finance. Brian is a past president of the Saint Nicholas Society of New York, chairman of the Blake Heritage Foundation, and a general partner of the private investment fund that manages its endowment. Family history is his hobby. Now semi-retired, your Village Blacksmith lives in Connecticut with his wife of thirty years, enjoying visits with their 27-year-old son. |
