| Introduction | I'm Carolyn. I'm the 3rd oldest of 11 kids, the 1st adopted of 8, and the oldest girl of 4. I live in Northeast Tennessee with my 3 kids, husband Andy, and dog Max. I turn 40 in August right after my first grandchild is born! I "unschool" my kids and love EVERY minute of it! What does this mean? For us, this means that I let my kids learn about what they are interested in, when they are interested in doing so...be it History, Science, Reading, or whatever! The only exception is Math. I loosely follow a Math curriculum with them the closer they get to high school and Charlie LOVES Math and so at 4 years old, he's doing it all the time anyway. |
| Interests | I like "sweeping", or entering a lot of sweepstakes! I also like to run but don't do it as much as I should. Most importantly, I LOVE spending time with my kids. |
| Favorite Movies | I don't like movies all that much. When I do watch one, I watch it once, not over and over again. |
| Favorite Music | I'm a hip-hopper! LOL! |
| Favorite Books | I love books about homeschooling and unschooling! |
