| Introduction | This site is dedicated to the people making Honolulu interesting. Our focus is on the independent artists, designers, musicians etc. There is such a large Honolulu arts community, it seemed like a natural progression to combine them on the web. We saw a gap between the people and the scene. We want to be the link between, presented in a non bias opinion forum. By giving people the cover of a pen name we hoped to lure all those would be writers out of the closet. Also for all the people that wanted to let their neighbors’ friends’ band know that they really “aren’t that great”. We hope you find something here interesting and are inspired to do something. Whether it’s write a poem, start a circus troupe or take a big shit. Thank you to all of our contributors and nay sayers for giving us the drive to complete a project like this. Without you there would be no Indie Honolulu. |
