Introduction	I believe writing can change you. I discovered this as a little girl and solidified it as an adult, which is why I chose to become a writing teacher. I've taught 7th grade through master's level writing courses. I have published poems, non-fiction, creative non-fiction, and professional essays, so I refuse to limit myself or my students to any one genre of writing.
