| Introduction | “The White SMAG” (Adopted + Jewish + Korean = white). Raised in a bucolic small town in the Hudson River Valley, after a four-year collegiate detour in the Southeast Bay, this former ‘SMAG in the country’ is now a bona fide ‘SMAG in the city.’ Like many of my generation, I have a job for which I am probably over-qualified, but that I vehemently love. I also love iced coffee with soymilk, crisp Belgian beer, black eyeliner and concerts of all varieties. I hate birds, backpacks and soup. |
