| Introduction | I consider myself a very industrious person(probably due to a touch of Adult Attention Deficit Disorder); basically family-minded and with an ingrained hope to leave the world a better place for having lived. Since reading The Call of the Wild by Jack London in the late 50's, adventure was my general quest under the guise that someday I would write a great American novel using the knowledge harvested from places my mother would not have approved. I have re-invented myself many times over...from a myriad of jobs over the past 50 years inclusive of drugstore clerk in high school to bankteller while in college; then housewife and mother to master logger, truckdriver and writer. This last time, I began a journey to carry me to the end of my days. No more re-inventing! In 2007, while immobile due to a total hip replacement, I researched my Catholic roots and decided that I finally found who I am. I will remain busy to the end of life simply fine-tuning what I think God wants in me. |

Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
Use your best paring knife, start near stem, carve away thin strip in a spiraling motion and take your sweet time!
