| Introduction | Guto Antunes (Sep 02nd, 1978) is a professional triathlete that is among the best in Brazil. Born in São Paulo City, Guto started practicing sports during his childhood, such as swimming, soccer, track & field, karate and cycling. By these contacts, his interest for the sport began to arise. In 1999 he started to race professionally. His aptitude for multisports events showed up when, back in 2004, Antunes started to race the international professional circuit (Sprint, Olympic and 70.3 Ironman distances), with expressive results. The great legacy that Guto demonstrates is: "The biggest rival to reach your goals is closer than you imagine: inside of yourself" |
