Introduction	I'm a writer and low-rent epicure.
Interests	Interloping and playing the devil's advocate. I'm queen of the skeptics, madame of doubt... I can't help but question everything.... especially those things that stem from religion........... When I'm not making people question the very fabric of their lives, I like to examine my own existence and ponder the weird, funny, dark, romantic, crazy, fantastic thing that is life........... Hmmm, felt like I blew my wad with that one.... but let me think what of my many other widely scoping, I must say (said with a silly Ed Grimley accent) interests may be interesting to some poor soul peaking in...... Another thing I like? Style. Just good style. Whether it be clothes, a building or a great bike. I like it to be functional, personal, high quality and have interesting details.......... Oh, yeah, Vino. I love it. Shiraz, Pinot Noir. I like the big fruit, orgy-on-your-tongue type of Pinot. A pinot del popolo -- not the proper, wannabe French Burgundy that the hardcore wine afficionados love to wax on about. Delicate schmelicate. Give me jammy, Sammy! hee hee hee. That really riles the oenophiles up.......... Oh, and weirdly enough on the flip side, when I'm not hugging the porcelain grail, face down in the gutter or simply trying to recover from a hellacious wine hangover, I like to do anything physical. I mean really, I'm kinda crazy.... pathologically active one might say: I love camping, white water rafting (in truth, I've only done wwr once but the night is young) hiking (a lot of hiking), cycling (a lot of cycling), gym shit, I just climbed my first rock wall recently (I was like a little spider monkey and got to the top in a flash) kayaking, boogie boarding, trying to learn to surf (more lessons this summer), lots of yoga.... and other kinds of, um, physical stuff that may not be appropriate to write here in public where my mom could see.
Favorite movies	Aside from the obvious masterpieces _ Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Godfather- which all of us have seen so many times we actually believe we could kill someone bare-handed with a garrote because we've seen Clemenza do it to Carlo a zillion times, however - here are some mini-masterpieces that I love: Big Labowski, Tell No one, THX 1138, Manon of the Springs, In the Mood for Love, Thief, Coma, Rosemary's Baby, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Logan's Run, Sexy Beast, 40 Year Old Virgin, Fisher King, Shallow Grave, Omen - the original one, Manchurian Candidate - the Sinatra one, Le Samouraï, 'Round Midnight, Killer of Sheep, To Sleep with Anger, Medicine for Melancholy, Un homme et une Femme, Last Tango in Paris, Hannah and her Sisters, Chloé in the Afternoon, Lady Sings the Blues, Mohogany, Religulous, Days of Heaven, The Limey, The Proposition, Badlands, Fitzcarraldo, My Best Fiend -- actually, anything by Herzog, Bad Lieutenant, Don't Look Now, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Midnight Cowboy, My Favorite Year, 28 Days Later, The Wild Bunch, L. My head is going to explode.......... I'm turning off this damn glowing box and opening a bottle of wine......a much healthier and far more interesting endeavor.
