| Introduction | For some reason this seems important to me: I was born in one of the peak years of the baby boom. That was 1957 (the other year was 1961) when 4.3 million "blessed events" entered our world. Another thing that seems important to me is that I make art and wish to write and make more art. And, so much of this will be about that. I live in a suburb of Washington, DC with my husband and 13 1/2 year old dog. Except for my husband and my dog, my nest is empty - my two sons are (I am proud to say) launched. I am interested in politics, my politics are liberal or progressive or whatever you care to call them. I am an atheist also. But I doubt very much that I will be writing about those things. Except for an occasional cathartic rant. |
