| Introduction | I was raised in my church out of habit. So getting older, a little wiser, a little more pressed for spiritual standing when it gets rough, a little more skeptical of the world, and in need of a deeper understanding of this religion I grew up with, I wanted to take a step back and analyze religion, its role in society and my life, and what beliefs I will hold in the future. I have a passion, borderline obsession in devouring the Bible cover to cover…in posing the tough questions and researching what I really know...to uncover the basis of a thousand year debate, of rituals, rights, and lifestyles based on various Biblical understandings that provide comfort, and found divides between people of different assumptions and understandings. I am not holding back, I am delving into this Book with flair and finesse, eyes wide open and pen ready...let the journey begin... |
