| Introduction | I’m Ali: my name means truthful, and I am so grateful to my parents for speaking that over me as a benediction, declaring the identity God authored in me. I love the truth. As an artist and a writer, I love to find better words and brighter colors to make the truth more vibrant. I think the funniest stories—the ones that produce soul-cleansing belly laughter—are the ones that are the most raw and honest. I passionately love Jesus and the goodness of God’s design, and I don’t want my gospel watered down. I love the grittiness of the Bible and the beauty of true redemption. I live on a daring little hobby farm out in the sticks, with a visionary husband, 5 free spirited children, and an ever growing family of awesome animals. We homeschool, try new things, grow stuff, and are a licensed foster family. And we love to tell good stories.
