Introduction I am a Lecturer at NMU, a Xhosa language translator. I'm also a board member of Unako Community Based Movement. I became a second South African woman in history to be accepted for GNOME Outreach Program internship for Women under Localization as a Software translator. I translate English to Xhosa. In 2011, I have worked as an IsiXhosa language Practitioner at Translate.org. I am also working as freelance translator. I have been involved in huge translation projects like ABSA translation project as a Xhosa Specialist and others. I also had a privilege to be involved in a Reading Week Project for Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Library as a Judge for the Xhosa novel year 2014 and 2015 as a facilitator. I hold Doctoral Degree in Litterarum (isiXhosa), Masters Degree in IsiXhosa (2011), BA-Honours in IsiXhosa (2009) and BA-Degree in Media, Culture Communications (2008) from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
