| Introduction | I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, schooled in Omaha, Lawrence, Kansas and Yankton, South Dakota. I graduated from Cathedral High School in Omaha in 1962, attended Creighton University from 1962-1964. Attended Mt. Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota from 1962-Dec. 1966. I graduated from MMC in Vocal Music and Education. After college I taught for one year in Omaha, then started singing With Dave Webber in a variety of haunts. It was while I was singing in Amarillo Texas with Dave that I met and fell in love with Doug Curran who was singing with the Lettermen. Doug and I married on May 24, 1969 in New York City. Now having been married for 38 years, I thrill at still being in love with Doug and being the grandmother of Kalin, Kai, Gavin, Ryan, Aidan and Owen. Life is good. I still love to sing with Doug, but especially I love listening to and watching our children perform. Music has been a focal point of our lives. I've been teaching school for 18 years. I am currently teaching at Riverton High School in Riverton, Utah. I work with students who have mild learning disabilities. |
