IntroductionMy name is Kris and I have survived RAD for 18 years as of late 2012. Arthritic symptoms first showed in Autumn 1994 at age 15. I was not diagnosed until the following June, age 16. Treatments have included Naproxen, Plaquenil, Methotrexate, Arava, and now Humira. I am also a survivor of near death and two open heart surgeries, both which saved my life and propelled me to live against the odds and despite the RAD.
