| Introduction | In May 2008, Mum's left hand started to weaken, and during this time she realised she couldn't remember things well. Two months later, a neurologist's biopsy and MRI scan showed she has Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a rare and aggressive type of brain cancer. With the support of family and friends, Mum battled this condition with courage and ever gallant spirit. On 27 September 2009, Mother passed away. She will forever be remembered as a caring, dedicated Mother, daughter, sister, wife, and a great friend to those she loved. |
