Introduction Pratibha Jain is a partner of PRITYA which is a space for documentation of traditional wisdom. In December 2005, she authored and published "Cooking at Home with Pedatha" with Jigyasa Giri. This was awarded the "Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the World 2006" by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. In December 2008, they authored and published "Sukham Ayu" which is a cookbook based on Ayurvedic insights. This won the Best Health & Nutrition Cookbook in the World - second place. PRATIBHA holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Language from the University of Madras. She has been a Recipient of the Junior Research Fellowship awarded by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New-Delhi from 1995-98. She is a translator in the English-Hindi pair and has translated poems, stories, recipes, religious discourses and the like.
