| Introduction | After spending many years in the trenches of the Canadian marketing industry, while rarely consuming my mandatory annual vacation time, I decided it was time to make a change. To take a sabbatical. To squeeze more out of life. I sold my home, put my old life in storage, and bought a backpack. Completely at liberty, I ventured overseas to see what I could discover.
