| Introduction | Well, balance is a word I hear often associated with me. Life has been full, rich, with grace aplenty and I wouldn't change it for the world. A vocational life in the church has not been a tea party, especially since integrity has characterized my ministry. Through it all, I have had to learn the lesson of trust and that there is always a resurrection. If we are looking for labels you could call me a fully human, follower of Jesus, serving in the United Church of Christ. I've been a servant in the Christian faith for most of my life. I began serving churches in 1982 when I was the tender age of 21. I have been serving an Angli-emergent, open and affirming, multi-racial, liturgical, evangelical church in Memphis Tennessee for 14 years. |
