Introduction	Teaching high school Social Studies is a second career for me. In a former life, I taught college writing, literature, and history classes. I love teaching high school because students are so full of ideas, energy, and joy. I am excited to be a part of the Issaquah High School community! I believe students enter my classroom already prepared to thrive and to love learning. One of my main goals for our learning community is to use the group's enormous collective intelligence to make our learning meaningful and engaging for every student.
