| Introduction | Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to working with you and your child to have a successful year. Since September of 1998 I have been lucky to work at William L. Callahan School. For the first 10 years, I was a special education teacher and then I decided to take a classroom and have been a 2nd grade teacher ever since. My husband and have two children. My daughter is entering fifth grade at Steere Farm this year and my son is entering first grade at Austin T. Levy. As a parent, I know that throughout the year sometimes I have questions about the school day, a homework assignment, a project, curriculum, assessments, expectations, classroom routines, special events. etc.I hope this blog will become a useful resource for parents and students while keeping the lines of communication open. E-mail is also a great way to contact me with any questions or concerns, I check email frequently and will try and respond quickly. |
