Introduction	Within the last couple of years, I had left my role as a sonographer to stay at home to support the kids, house and dog as Mike expanded in his career. His most recent development was that he was offered an expat role in Western Australia. I received interest from friends and family when I tentatively suggested starting a blog. We have come Down Under where everything is the same and nothing is the same. The newness of this culture is refreshing, a bit scary and definitely hilarious all at once. Blogging is new territory for me but I love to take photos and this seemed like a solid creative outlet for me. That and nobody likes to see 1800 posts in the same day on the MyFace. Join us on our adventures, read on!
Interests	Traveling, swimming, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, reading, skiing, being a "Mum" and now blogging!
Favorite movies	I usually go for epic series. HBO's "Game of Thrones" is up there as one of my favorites. And yes. I'm still waiting for "Winds of Winter" to be published. Hurry up Martin.

Favorite books	There's always a book or kindle by my bed or stashed in my purse. I'm always changing up genres. The last 2 books I've read are "The Institute" by Stephen King and "In a Sunburned Country" by Bill Bryson.
