| Introduction | My name is Bethany Jackson. I'm a freelance makeup artist (slash) 5th grade math teacher, amongst other random identities I tend to claim such as " try-new-kinds-of-music enthusiast", "always-say-how-you-really-feel advocate", "math maniac", and "inspiration-giver" (.....do those count?). A couple of years ago, a friend messaged me asking if I had considered starting a beauty blog, because if I started one, she would definitely follow it. After that, one thing led to another and I ended up becoming a certified freelance makeup artist in 2014. After graduating from the freelance program at the Academy of Makeup Arts in Nashville, I started my own business, Inspire the Brush Makeup Artistry, and have since been lucky enough to do makeup for many beautiful brides and their bridal parties. While my blog was previously all about makeup products and tutorials, I have decided to make some changes to the topics I post about in order to hopefully reach a wider variety of people and touch on all my interests. You'll see things from food to clothes, to beauty products to music, to posts about activities that I enjoy and teaching products and strategies that I love. |
