| Introduction | I was born in Jakarta to 2 lovely parents who have taught me many lessons in life. I have an older brother, married to a Batu Pahat girl. Both of whom are doctors. And a younger sister, still single and happy! At the tender age of 11, my family migrated to Singapore (and eventually became Singaporeans). After my 'O' levels, i moved to Melbourne to do my degree in Information Systems, then back to Singapore. Did my Masters in Early Childhood Education and worked as a Kindergarten teacher. Got married to a handsome man, and now currently a full-time mummy to 2 bundles of joy! ;) At this moment, we're back in Jakarta, Indonesia. This short history about me, tells of the great things God has done for me. I have no one to thank but God for making me and moulding me to be who i am today. To God be the glory! |
| Interests | Of babyku... Why the name 'Baby ku', you may ask. A friend of mine actually said, "You mean your baby's name is KU?" Haha! Well, it all started with this... Just before ivan and i got married, we got ourselves a wedding band. Duh?! We thought about what to be engraved inside. We didn't want those same old boring phrases. So we came up with IVAN-KU and ASTRID-KU, followed by the date of our wedding. In Indonesian language, 'ku' means 'my'. And you don't call it KU BABY (my baby) because when you say red car, we say mobil merah (car red). Ok enough Indonesian language lesson for now. Anyway, now you know where BABY KU comes from. ;) |
