| Introduction | From the extraordinary terrain of Northern California; born on the unique Pacific Ocean coastline, raised amid rivers, hills, mountains and forests. Nature was and is a nurturer, teacher, companion, and much more for me. I'm thankful for its power and capability, awed by its incredible beauty and magic, intrigued by its mystery and wonder, and inspired by my respect for what it has given all of us. It sustains our life. Both of my parents have passed away, and they both died before reaching the age of 60. Facing their mortality helped me appreciate life and love on a deeper level than I ever thought I could. I went through a tough, healing, positive grieving period which allowed me significant growth, balance, and focus. I hope to combine knowledge from my unique experiences, skills from my journalism degree / photography hobby, my strong passion for sustainability and nature, and my undeniable desire to make a difference, in order to benefit both humans and the planet in a state of cooperative coexistence. |
