Introduction | I am a member of the New Democratic Party and have been for six years now. For five of those years I have been a fighter for Revolutionary Marxism. The NDP is, for better or worse, the mass organization of labour and the working classes and, as such, is the organic home for all progressive tendencies. Marxists belong in the NDP in order to engage workers and youth with the ideas of socialism. I am a supporter of and writer for the Marxist magazine Fightback (www.Marxist.ca). I helped found the Trent University NDP campus club and served two years on the Peterborough Riding Association Executive as Youth Organizer. I am regularly a delegate at Ontario Provincial Councils. As I Marxist I, and my comrades, actively intervene in party activity to bring the ideas of revolutionary socialism back into the hearts and minds of rank-and-file workers. |
