Introduction	Yvette hails from Sonoma County and currently resides in Southern California because she just can’t resist the lure of the La-La Land lifestyle and the bikini-ready weather. Her professional life includes work spanning the nonprofit world, the Legislature (St. and Fed.), and numerous campaigns. She serves as the CA Local Rep. for PolarisProject.org and is Chair of the Golden State Friends of Polaris Project, where she fights for A World Without Slavery (human trafficking). She has served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA, AmeriCorps State and National Volunteer, and has been recognized for her volunteer work with the homeless. Another important fun fact: Yvette is a proud member of the Trojan Family, so of course that means she can be spotted flailing that Victory sign at ‘SC tailgates. Other personal interests: fun with friends and family, music (has contemplated Pandora.com Anonymous), French bubbly and California wine, opera (La Traviata is her fave), dancing (especially in the car …but just at stop-lights), Sunday naps on the beach, and spending more time than she should on (hint: what else is every other Millennial spending the majority of their time on?) …SOCIAL MEDIA!
