| Introduction | I spend my time teaching ESL and first-year composition. I carry my dry-erase markers everywhere I go! I see teaching as empowerment and service to others. I enjoy meditating on quotes from Anne Sullivan, MLK, Mother Teresa, and the Stoics. I am fascinated with vast open spaces and small enclosed spaces. I like anecdotes, facts, news, and stories on deep ocean and deep space exploration. I am a big fan of submarine and space movies, NASA, naval fleets, and government or alien conspiracies. On good days I catch Little House on the Prairie around lunchtime or an episode of Cheers before bed. I have an anime girlfriend, three goldfish, a bottom-feeder, and a fiddler crab that keeps escaping! |
