Introduction	I'm a cyclist attempting to qualify for Paralympics. Follow along. Beware of profanity. I had Guillain Barre Syndrome when I was two years old, which left me with partial to full paralysis in my lower limbs. I have no idea why I chose to compete in a sport that utilizes the one part of my body that does not work well. I'm also nuts. But that has nothing to with my physical disability. Just my natural state. Other things you might read about on this blog: * Notre Dame - I went to Notre Dame. Fall means football, for better or for worse. Lately a lot more for the worse. * Education - I was an elementary school teacher for six years and now I work in education statistics.
