| Introduction | I grew up in Southern California, received my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Public Health Education, with an emphasis in International Health, lived and worked in the Dominican Republic, served a mission in New Caledonia (next to Fiji), worked at Community Action Services and Food Bank in Provo as a member of Americorps*VISTA(similar to the Peace Corp and VISTA stands for Volunteer in Service to America) for 15 months, received a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University and now I work for San Joaquin County Public Health Services (in Stockton, CA) as a Public Health Educator. |
