Introduction | Jean and Kathleen have been friends for many years. We started French Cupboard several years ago and began searching for vintage fabric, trims and buttons, which we both love. We searched flea markets, fabric stores and thrift shops. When we had enough we began our business, with totes, aprons and kitchen towels made or trimmed with vinatage fabric. We got a contract to make totes for a for a siminar held at Stanford University. We are now adding shoulder purses made from vintage, silk, cotton and rayon fabrics. Perhaps, some hand painted cermanics--more to come. |
Interests | Sewing, painting, painting on fabric, cermanics, anything creative. |
