| Introduction | I am a 72 year old mother of 3 sons and one daughter, grandmother of 12, 10 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons. I have been patriotic for years, and had 2 brothers who served in WW11, 2 in the Korean War, one son in the Navy and now 5 of my grandsons having served and presently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They keep coming and going, but I praise God that they have all returned safely. One will be leaving for Afghanistan in Nov. I have 1 Army, 2 Air Force and 2 Marines. So proud of all of them. also known as "Grandma's Heroes". I grew up in So. Calif., married my high school sweeheart, the love of my life and was widowed after almost 48 years. I spend my time with family, antiquing with friends and involved in church activities. I enjoy decorating for all the seasons. |
