You're going to the moon! What did you forget to pack?
Well, it wouldn't be my camera! Do you remember the old commercials for American Express, where they say "Don't leave home without it."? Well, that is appropriate for me when it comes to my camera, not the new one mind you that costs to much money, but, I ALWAYS have a camera with me at all times or at least 90% of the time when I leave the house, the camera goes with me!
