About me

Introduction	Anja has studied and danced Argentine tango intensively since 2005, building on her previous salsa experience. She is regularly travelling to festivals and marathons around the world to constantly improve and refine her tango, she especially counts Pablo Inza and Alejandro Larenas & Marisol Morales as strong influencers. Her focus is on musicality and creativity as well as on the overall intensity and elegance of the dance. Since 2007 she has been giving workshops with various partners in Denmark, Lithuania, Trinidad and cities around England, where her explanations bring clarity and insight to the leading and following involved. She has been working and teaching with Tim since 2008, first teaching for Tangosoul (Leandro & Romina) in London and now being resident teachers at Negracha, London's biggest tango club. In London she has also taught with Amir Giles, Julian Elizari and Ivan Arandia among others.
