Introduction | I'm a writer who lives in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and loves to travel. I write mystery/suspense and historical fiction. One suspense novel, set in London and Cairo, is now on submission, while I delve into the struggle for survival that shaped the undeclared war between Native Americans and white American settlers in the Ohio River Valley in the late 1700s. |
Interests | I'm a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, of Sisters In Crime, and a Board Member of the Seattle Chapter of the Women's National Book Association. You can find me on Twitter @LindaGray_ Email: lndgry2010@gmail.com |
Favorite Movies | An Ideal Husband, The Seventh Wave, Resurrection (the Ellen Burstyn one, not the one about aliens) |
Favorite Music | Great bands from the '70s, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Feist, Norah Jones, Andrew Bird, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven |
Favorite Books | There are so many! All of Jane Austen, much of Virginia Woolf, and absolutely, the comedies of Oscar Wilde (with whom I share a birthday). More contemporary: in mystery/suspense--Laurie King, Deborah Crombie, Louise Penny, Thomas Perry, Denise Mina, the old Robert Crais, before he got so macho; literary/mainstream fiction--Elizabeth Strout, Ann Patchett, Richard Russo, Anita Brookner |
