| Introduction | Short Biography Mairi Sutherland Mairi entered broadcasting with the BBC as a freelance radio reporter and presenter in the 1990’s working for local community radio and BBC Scotland. There she produced over 200 hours of broadcast documentary features for radio over a five year period. Then in 1995 she moved into the independent world of film making, working briefly for Clan Wallace film fighting extras and back up crew for Braveheart. This lead to an interest in film production and script development, which made her take an opening at Palm Tree Productions as a Production Assistant. Joining the owner Robbie Moffat, she became a shareholder of the company and helped steer it into becoming one of the most successful independent film companies in the UK. Over the last decade the company has completed over 2o independent British independent feature films. |
