| Introduction | Welcome to "Tales of Metal" - A behind the scenes look at the burgeoning, bad ass, Heavy Metal Scene in Nashville, Tennessee, during the 70's and 80's - Music City's dirty little secret. I am a Rock Guitar veteran with over 40 years of experience from the stage, studio, and audio biz. I'm sharing these stories here, in hopes of someday getting them all together in a book. Both of my brothers and I, were born and raised in Nashville TN. We grew up in the "Country Music Capital of the World'" but fell in love with Metal, playing in bands together, and with lots of friends along the way. Our family has roots in the Nashville music industry - I offer a unique behind the scenes look at Nashville in the 70's,80's and 90's as the musical landscape changed from "Hee Haw" to "Hell Fucking Yeah!" Come along for the ride. |
